Stairs of fame

At 18 she started modeling. Turned out she had the talent for it. The work itself never weighed on her. The way up came easy, one job after another. People noticed right away—her smile, the shape of her body, that easy laugh she carried. It all fit together. She felt it in every frame, every shoot. Sometimes, when the lights were off and the camera was packed away, the same heat that had carried her through the day lingered under her skin. Alone in the studio after hours she let her hand drift between her thighs. Slow at first, teasing.
