Wanna play a game? Black Diamond asks with a sly smile. Larissa hesitates at first, then settles into her stance like she belongs there. Every shot after that gets bolder. She lines up the cue, strikes clean, sinks the ball without hesitation. When the last one drops, she turns and waits. Black Diamond takes the loss in silence. She leaves the cue on the felt, steps around the table, and offers herself without being told twice.
