Sunset

Cherry sat alone, the last orange light sliding over the backs of her thighs. Someone stepped out of the dusk, knelt right in front of her, and told her he loved her. His hands followed his words, gliding up and down the length of her legs. He pressed his palms under her calves, lifted them gently, and brought each foot to his mouth. His tongue traced slow circles across her toes, sucking them one by one. She stayed silent, toes flexing, while his kisses trailed higher. His lips reached the warm crease behind her knee, then his breath moved along the inside of her thighs. He tugged the thin fabric of her shorts aside and sank lower until his mouth found her. He licked and sucked at her clit in long, steady strokes, hands never leaving her feet. When she pushed her toes back against his chest, he shifted, rising only enough for her to lean forward and take him in her mouth. She worked him deep, blonde hair falling across her face, tongue swirling at the head each time she pulled up. His hips rocked with the same slow rhythm he’d used on her legs. She kept sucking until his breathing broke, until the last of the sunset was gone and only the wet sound of her mouth filled the cooling air.
