In the sauna

She steps into the sauna, the heat wrapping around her instantly. Her skin flushes. Already she’s thinking about what the steam does to her, how it makes her slick between the legs. She sits back on the wooden bench, towel loosening at the front, and lets her hand drift down. Her fingers slide in slow circles. Her eyes close. A small sound escapes her. She keeps going, legs parted just enough, soles pressed to the floorboards. The steam rises around her calves. Her toes curl. She rubs harder, faster, until the need starts to crest. The room is quiet except for the wet sound of her moving fingers and the little gasp she gives right before she comes.
