Daily routine

Morning light finds her in the bathroom, hands slick with creamy shower gel. She works the foam over her firm body, then reaches for the body cream. Thick dollops slide over her calves, her thighs. Her fingertips press it in until the skin gleams. One bare foot lifts to the edge of the tub, toes pointed, as she rubs the cream between each toe, slow and thorough.
