A rainy day

Rain hit my tee and plastered it to my skin, cold and sudden. I ducked inside, already peeling the soaked cotton off my arms. Water streamed from my hair over my collarbone, sliding between my breasts, making the thin fabric transparent. I dropped the shirt to the floor. My shorts followed, the denim heavy and dark. I stood in the entryway for a moment, water pooling at my feet, then walked naked down the hall, nipples stiff from the chill. In my room I stretched out on the bed without closing the curtains. My hand slid between my thighs. I traced the soft, swollen lips, circled the tender spot above until heat spread through me. My fingers dipped lower, slick now with more than rain. Each slow stroke pulled a quiet sound from my throat. Outside, the storm kept drumming. Inside, my pulse matched it, steady and hungry.
